Acupuncture is known to effectively relieve pain, for example, for migraines, back pain, and knee problems. But the treatment method can do much more. For example, it is also very effective in counteracting infectious diseases. One of the standard works of Chinese medicine, the Huángdì Nèijīng (the inner classic of the Yellow Emperor), consists of two parts, the first of which was written around 2698–2598 BC. Its authors already knew how important harmony and balance between humans and nature are. A balanced lifestyle and a holistic understanding of health are the foundations for a long and fulfilling life. In the second part of the work, the location of the acupuncture points and the associated channels are explained. When you use acupuncture for yourself, your body benefits from knowledge that has been collected and constantly expanded in empirical medicine over at least 2000 years.
